Dr. Gerry Walczak in Stevens Point is planning to learn how to revise posterior tongue ties. He currently treats tongue and lip ties with a laser. Last I heard from him, he planned to train with Dr. Margolis in Highland Park. He works at Family Health/La Clinica in Wautoma on Fridays. We are working on billing so he can treat babies with Medical Assistance in Wautoma. Dr. Javier Rincon and Jenilee Hill FNP, are currently treating tongue-ties at Family Health/La Clinica as well. Revisions are done with scissors. They revised a posterior tie yesterday! They accept MA as well as other insurance and have a sliding fee scale for those with no insurance. Families can call 920-787-5514 for appointments. It is not difficult to get in quickly.
Drs. Katie Jacoby and Beth Menzel at UW Family Medical Fox Valley will revise anterior tongue-ties with scissor in Appleton. Call 920-832-2783 for appointments. There may be a delay in getting an appointment as they are in a very busy period.
