CHOCOLATE MILK

Special invitation

The last week of August 25 – 31st, is Black Breastfeeding Week, which focuses on the racial disparities in breastfeeding between white and black mothers. Chocolate Milk®: The Documentary explores this issue through the stories of three African American women: a new mother, a midwife and a WIC employee. By creating an engaging narrative about the challenges and joys of breastfeeding, we hope to spark public discussion on how communities can better support black mothers.

So far we’ve received responses from over 170 organizations, putting us more than halfway to our goal of 200 screenings across the U.S.! We still have spots left and invite your group or organization to sign-up by completing the intake survey at the link below. Once we’ve reached our goal we’ll provide details about how to schedule and host a screening. The official deadline to submit was April 12th, 2019, but we’re giving your organization a special extension until May 17.
