“Thanks a million times”
Nov 16
I have been selected as a National Trainer in Infant and Young Child Feeding by IBFAN Uganda - recommended to the Ministry of Health of Uganda and I will be attending a Trainers of Trainers programme the second week of December. There wil be National trainings for Health workers next year and I will be part of the team to conduct these trainings. I would like to mention that its because of the support you give me that these people are able to recognise my active participation and recommend me. Thanks a million times.
Josephine has sent a comprehensive report about all the things she is doing to help more mothers breastfeed their babies in her region of Uganda. She has included many pictures in the report – she is doing amazing work with the contributions from WALC! Read her report and post a comment – I’m sure she’d be happy to hear from any of us.

As soon as the website is up and running well, our partner Josephine in Uganda will be able to update us about her activities in this space. She has been very busy with many activities to protect, promote and support breastfeeding in her area and is appreciative of the funding we are able to provide. I also know that she has submitted an abstract for the 2010 ILCA Conference. More to come!
